Why Subscribe?

I work at that messy and important intersection where energy and politics collide.

This is a place where I (someone that’s financially independent and courageous enough to speak my mind) can share data, analysis, and unfiltered observations. It’s a place where play with ideas that are always a work-in-progress.

I speak my mind in such an non-partisan manner that I have been targeted by both sides - by billionaire oilmen and 350.org’s Bill McKibben. My analysis has been amplified by major names like Marc Andreessen and FoxNation’s Lara Logan, and I’m thankful to be able to call some of today’s leading voices on energy friends, like Alex Epstein, Mark P. Mills, Robert Bryce, Mark Nelson, Anas “OPEC whisperer” Alhajji, Brian Gitt, Meredith Angwin, and former Obama Secretary of Energy and Environment, Ernest Moniz (all linked so you may follow, too).

More importantly, it’s this community where I gain valuable feedback. I’m deeply thankful to those who engage and peer-review. I welcome suggestions for topics or doing something differently. Anonymity is respected.
